Away from the Nest

This week I left Cole for the first time in over six months.

I visited Carrollton for a few days, and decided to leave Cole in my mom's care, so that I could spend some time alone just cleaning, packing and sleeping past 6:30. On the ride back to Birmingham, I just kept thinking about Cole and how I would miss him. Funny enough, by the time I got home I was ok. By the following morning, I was even dreading going to get him. Sometimes momma needs a long break. So, thanks to my momma for allowing me that.
