Tiny House Syndrome

An ongoing discussion the husband and I have is our home, our small house, our tiny abode. We live in a wonderful neighborhood, and when the house was bought almost six years ago, it was perfect. Then, when Wade and I got married almost four years ago, it was fine. Now that Cole is here, it's closing in on all of us. I love our house. I really do. But, it has it's flaws and all of them revolve around a not-so-sound sleeping baby. You see, Cole does not nap all that well. To make matters worse, a buzzing dryer, a flushing toilet a ringing phone will wake him up. So, while most moms can take care of house work during their little ones' naps, I sit perfectly quiet either in our living room or on the front porch. It's not bad, but it's not ideal. Just venting at the frustration with our tiny house.

Spit Happens

We we rushing to get ready for church, and everyone knows things go wrong when you're in a hurry. Wade was pulling Cole's outfit over his head about the time we heard baawwww.....SPIT UP. Wade's reaction was swift, but dire. You can clearly see the results. We must apologize to Cole's Sunday School teachers for his crusty hair. Hey, at least we still made it to church.
